INTO THE NEXT ROUND ( Luton Allstars 2 vs 1 Atletico Europa)

Great way to start our new season, with a county cup win.

Starting line up: Perez, Kudzai, Nick, Bradley, Derek, Nathan, Alfie, Emmanuel, Troy, Tau & Kadeem. Subs: Jordan, Darragh, L’Shiay, Ojay & Andrew

Halftime saw us come in with a 2-0 lead, our goals came from Troy Ottah who score straight from a corner-kick down the left-hand side, and Kadeem Maddix who took his opponent on 1v1 down the right-hand side cut in on his left foot and slots it past the keeper.

The second half was disappointing as Allstars took our foot off the gas a little. Late in the second half with 5 mins to go Atletico were awarded a penalty for handball in the box, They scored from the penalty and the game finished 2-1

Goal Scorers: Troy Ottah & Kadeem Maddix

Man of the Match: Nick Katombe. Nick had a great performance at CB, winning headers, covering defenders making last-ditch challenges to keep us up in the scoreline.

LIFE IN THE JPL

Both our U15’s and U16’s have started their new season in Junior Premier League and both teams have started very well.

Youth Joins Adults

One of our clubs objectives was to create a pathway for our players, to get them from U7’s to Adults. We proud to announce that 4 U18’s players have been signed to play for our Adults team this season. Well done to everyone involved.

Fees for 2020/21

This season the club management have reviewed costs and after consultation with insurance and pitch providers unfortunately the costs they charge the club have increased due to COVID-19. As you are aware, this is not a money making venture, coaches are volunteers (unpaid) and do this for the love of the community and the game. This year we will not be charging you for the end of year award ceremony therefore we are pleased to announce we’ve been able to keep the fees at £170 for the season.

Season duratioN Reminder

The fees you pay are only for the duration of the season only. The season offically runs from September and ends in April. Anything before or after the season is due to the goodwill of your coach who is committing his own time.

U15's JPL Squad - Preseason

Preseason training and matches have started for our U15’s JPL Squad.

LAFC U15’s JPL team started their first preseason match with a home game against MK Colts, the match was played behind closed doors. The score finished 2-2 with both teams playing good football and dominating the game at different periods. It is good to see our U15’s back out playing again as they get ready for the new season which is filled with new challenges.
